I've got a quick read for you today guys, sharing with you my Move of the Day.
Now, this comes straight out of the athletic conditioning program that I am doing with my team right now and whenever I come across a new move that challenges me like this one did, I have to share it!
Starting in a Bear Crawl position with your hands underneath your shoulders and your knees underneath your hips, tuck your toes and hover your knees about two inches off the ground, weight in your hands and feet. Keep your back flat by pulling your abdominals in tight and HOLD IT! You'll start to feel it pretty quickly in your core, glutes and quads. Stay for 15-30 seconds.
As if that isn't enough, now we move! Keeping your body position just as it is, extend your right leg straight back behind you, then pull that knee in to meet your right elbow. Extend the leg back out then replace your foot to the starting position. Do the same on the left side and keep alternating like this for 45-60 seconds. IT IS NO JOKE!!! Hats off to you Chris Downing, this is a good one!
If you try it, I'd love to hear what you think - leave me a comment/message here or on my Facebook or Instagram page.
Until next time, Fit Fam.
xoxo Sabs
